Anxiety Therapy

Evidence-based strategies to calm the nervous system, manage worry, and build lasting resilience. You do not have to white-knuckle your way through life.

Types of Anxiety We Treat

Generalized Anxiety

Persistent worry that feels hard to control. Racing thoughts, restlessness, difficulty relaxing — even when you know things are okay.

Panic & Panic Attacks

Sudden, intense waves of fear with physical symptoms. We help you understand what is happening and build tools to manage it.

Social Anxiety

Fear of judgment, avoidance of social situations, or difficulty being yourself around others. Therapy helps you show up more comfortably.

Overthinking & Rumination

Getting stuck in thought loops, replaying conversations, or catastrophizing about the future. We help you break the cycle.

Anxiety & Sleep

When anxiety keeps you up at night or exhausts you during the day. We address the root, not just the symptoms.

ADHD & Anxiety

Anxiety and ADHD frequently overlap. We understand the connection and treat both together.

How We Treat Anxiety

At Ashton Mental Health, we use evidence-based approaches to help you understand your anxiety and develop practical coping strategies that work in your real life. Visit our providers page to learn more about each therapist's specific modalities.

Therapy is not about eliminating anxiety entirely — some anxiety is a normal, healthy response. It is about learning to manage it so it no longer controls your decisions, relationships, or peace of mind.

Sessions are available in-person at our Boulder, Fort Collins, or Longmont offices, or via secure telehealth anywhere in Colorado. We are in-network with Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Colorado Access, Rocky Mountain Health Plans, Northeast Health Partners, and CCHA.

You Deserve to Feel Calmer

Anxiety is one of the most treatable mental health conditions. Most clients begin noticing meaningful change within a few sessions. You do not have to keep pushing through alone.
